Ready for the Weekend!

I'm enjoying my staycation. Sleeping all day and not having to go to work is really great! I love sleeping in. I have made plans to take my best friend and my grandmother to Irving, TX to spend the long weekend with my sister and brother and law. We are going to the Texas state fair. Hopefully it won't rain because the fair is really really fun. Last time I went with my family we went to many exibits there. Exibits are great. I love learning about other cultures and history. The fair had a huge exibit on women's history that was awesome. They also had a clothing exibit that showed how fashion has changed overtime and is coming back around. My sister being the fashionista that she is loved it. I am also happy to get my grandmother out of the house. Shes always cooped up in the house and with my busy work and school schedule I can not spend as much time with her like I would like too. She won't be able to walk around the fair with us because of her hip, but for her to be in a different atmosphere and around the people she loves will give her spirit a boost :). I see in my weekend forcast driving, laughing, shopping, and lots of LOVE. TEXAS HERE IS COME!!!

  1. Sounds like you are having an amazing week. I have never been to the Texas state fair. I have lived in Texas just about my whole life and still currently live in Texas and have not been. Isn't that terrible? How does it compair to the Louisiana state fair?? It sounds like they might have more stuff at the Texas state fair. Where is the closest one at? I might have to make time to go some time before they head out of town.

  3. I would have loved to see the clothing exhibit.

Have fun at the Texas State Fair, and I can't wait for the fair to come to town!
It's nice you are taking your grandmother so she can get a break. My mom is a workaholic, so you just gave me an idea to take her to the fair when it comes here.
